Where is Humber Valley?
The luxurious resort of Humber Valley is nestled in the Appalachian Mountain Range of Canada's most easterly province, Newfoundland.
Scenery?
Western Newfoundland offers some of the worlds most stunning scenery along with two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Gros Morne National Park and L'Anse aux Meadows, which is the only known Viking settlement in North America.
What Makes it So Good?
Humber Valley is located just under six hours flying time from the UK and offers all the normal activities one might expect from a first class ski destination, such as downhill skiing and snowboarding, as well as some people might have heard of but never got round to trying, such as x-country skiing and snowshoeing. The resort offers an array of activities suitable for all seasons and with something for everyone, visitors can choose to be as active or as relaxed as they please.

Yes, lots; snowboarding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, backcountry adventures and helicopter tours, sightseeing, hiking, sea kayaking and paddling, mountain biking, quad-biking, sailing and windsurfing, Humber Valley river boat tours, caving, bird watching, golf, angling and salmon fishing, and other activities such as whale watching, bear watching and iceberg watching, available all year round.
Apres Ski?
Sully’s Pub is the perfect place for an after ski drink or casual meal from the attractive pub style menu. Additional restaurants, bars and evening entertainment can be found in the nearby town of Corner Brook, just twenty minutes from Humber Valley Resort.
Eating Out?
Strawberry Hill is located a short drive from the Resort in neighboring Little Rapids, and offers fine dining and a cozy bar, as well as a charming deck with a river view. A complimentary shuttle service is available for Resort guests.
