A group of foodies are planning a trip to Napa/Sonoma and want to rent a home. Can you recommend a local villa rental company (not some mega-company)? Want one that can also plan some cool food and wine activites - not the usual tasting room stuff.

Napa and Sonoma are both truly beautiful destinations and you are right to look for accommodation to match. We posed your question to Sonoma County Tourism Bureau and the Napa Valley Conference and Visitors Bureau and their suggestions are below:

In Sonoma you could Beautiful Places? They have everything from Tuscan styled villas to modern mansions overlooking valleys of vineyards. They are also the only vacation rental company in the area with their own concierge service.  They can arrange just about anything ypu can dream up.  Visit them online at www.beautiful-places.com or you can contact Liza directly at – 800.495.9961

For Napa, below are two rental properties that you can call to make reservation at a private house/villa.

De Mar House Napa- 707-299-0009, www.demarhouse.com
NapaGetaway.com- 707-265-0547, www.napagetaway.com
