Five-star luxury is being offered to younger guests as part of the latest initiative from the Preferred Hotel Group.

Junior concierge services, exclusive behind-the-scenes tours and child-friendly treats are just some of the benefits being offered through Preferred Hotel Group’s ‘Family Ties’ packages – launched in time for the school holidays.

Each participating hotel has designed a tailored package and a range of benefits. Family Ties extends to family groups of all shapes, sizes and ages, with the hope of parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and, of course, children all experiencing a memorable trip.

Spearheading a select group of Preferred Hotel Group’s most prestigious hotels across the UK and Europe is London’s 41 which offers entertainment, exploration and luxury on tap for the whole family.

Children receive a welcome pack and have access to games from the moment they arrive. They are also provided with mini-versions of the bathrobes and slippers and have their very own concierge service.

A full tour of the hotel, including the kitchen is on offer, before the children are whisked away to make lunch for mum and dad. And the younger members of the family also receive a special turndown treat each evening.

Prices for the package begin from £580 (+VAT) per night for a two night stay.

Dublin’s The K Club also offers a great Family Ties package, with credits towards dinner and leisure facilities in the hotel and access to their own Kid’s Club on a Saturday morning. The younger member of the family are also provided with robes and slippers in the room – and perhaps more importantly a choice of ice-creams in the restaurant.

The K Club package is available from €670 (£499) per night.

Other hotels taking part in the Family Ties programme include Beau-Rivage in Geneva, Dream Castle in Magny Le Hongre, France and Hotel Balzac in Paris.
