NCT is launching its House Swap scheme online for the first time today -www.nct.org.uk/shop/ncthouseswap. Families can register their details online, making it easier and quicker to view photographs of potential houses and communicate directly with other families.

The annual registration fee is £29.99; this entitles families to unlimited house swaps each year whilst supporting the NCT since 100 percent of the fee goes back into helping the charity.

There are over 200 houses registered on the House Swap scheme in the UK and a few abroad. The House Swap is open to families only, but children can be of any age and parents do not need to be a member of the NCT to join up since it is open to NCT members and non members.

The NCT House Swap also makes it easier to do your bit as a family for climate change by choosing to holiday closer to home and enabling you to explore a new part of the UK .

Jeanne Hardacre from Sheffield is registered with the NCT House Swap scheme; she says; “Since we’ve had our children, we want a ‘home from home’ experience when we’re away on holiday. With NCT House Swap you know you’re going to have a great family-friendly base to explore a new part of the country with very little cost.”

Sue Holden from Lancaster enjoys holidaying with her family through NCT House Swap and says; “House swapping makes so much sense for us, we go on holiday more, we spend less and the children love having different toys to play with.”

All requests for the house swap register are checked and moderated regularly and NCT House Swap is based on mutual trust and respect of all parties involved.
