By TTM on 30 April 2007 in News
Hed Kandi has long been famed for its glamour and extravagance but never more than now, as they boldly tread where no music brand has gone before with their very own aircraft. Their summer partnership with Monarch is a truly inspired alliance, which marks a first for both brands and will see a head turning Boeing 757 receive the full Kandi make-over.
The aircraft was unveiled on Friday 27th April at London Luton Airport for its inaugural flight and will be taking to the skies over the coming months as part of this sensational summer deal. Commenting on the venture Felicity Ive, Head of Media for Hed Kandi commented: "The Hed Kandi team are incredibly excited about our partnership with Monarch and the unveiling of our stunning, liveried aircraft really is the icing on the cake! Hed Kandi is renowned for beautiful artwork and glamorous parties and seeing the brand take to the skies really epitomises the Hed Kandi lifestyle.
The aircraft looks absolutely stunning."Also commenting on the partnership, Head of PR and Communications for Monarch, Jo Robertson said: "It is a momentous day for Monarch as it is the first time the airline has displayed another brand's livery on an aircraft. The partnership with Hed Kandi to support the launch of services to Ibiza is hugely exciting for us and we look forward to welcoming Hed Kandi's party goers onboard our flights over the coming months".
