Eurostar journey times from the UK to France and Belgium will be reduced.
20 July 2007
High speed trains, travelling at speeds of up to 300km/h, will whisk travelers from the centre of London to the heart of Paris in just 2 hours 15 minutes, and to Brussels in 1 hour 51 minutes.
With 7 domestic rail networks and 6 underground lines running into St Pancras and the nearby stations of Euston and Kings Cross, the new terminal is now easily accessible from more of the UK's major cities, making travelling by Eurostar even more appealing.
St Pancras has had a complete makeover. It will house Europe's longest champagne bar, a number of delicious eateries, a daily farmer's market and plenty of designer boutiques.
