LUMINISCENCE to Illuminate Westminster Cathedral with a Stunning 360° Projection-Mapped Concert Experience

by The Travel Magazine

WHAT: LUMINISCENCE – a stunning 360° Projection-Mapped Concert Experience

WHERE:  Westminster Cathedral

WHEN: Wednesday 1 July – Sunday 27 September 2026

WHY:

The story of London and one of its most important Cathedrals is told in a specially commissioned script by BAFTA and Olivier Award-winning writer Tim Whitnall, and voiced by internationally acclaimed actor and star of Paddington and Downton Abbey, Hugh Bonneville.

This superbly curated, cutting-edge video mapping and spatial sound technology sculpt the spectacular architecture of Westminster Cathedral, including its never-completed, mosaic-adorned domes, brought to life for the very first time in the architect’s original vision.

Live, rousing performances of some of the most cherished classical music composers brought to life by the phenomenal Lux Aeterna choir and 14-piece LUMINISCENCE orchestra.
