In a bid to stimulate business, and perhaps to with an optimistic nod to the future, budget airline EasyJet has brought its annual winter flight sale forward.

You can book early and make savings on flights between 25 October 2020 and 28 February 2021. The airline is also ditching its change fee until further notice, so you can currently amend the date and/or destination of your existing flight booking for free.

All Autumn 2020/Winter 2021 flights on sale will be £29.99 one way, including taxes and charges but you must book before midnight the 24 March 2020.

The airline’s sale, which goes live today, will allow many customers who have had their recent travel plans disrupted even more choice of dates to move their flights to with no change fee including Christmas and February half term breaks.

The announcement follows yesterday’s FCO announcement that Brits should avoid all but essential travel for the next 30 days.

The airline believes that the discount flight sale is expected to be welcomed by travellers whose Easter and Summer holiday plans have been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Over 147,000 flights are set to take place across easyJet’s network between 25 October 2020 and 28 February 2021, providing over 9 million seats for passengers to organise a half-term family break, catch some winter sun or head off on ski and city breaks.

Of these, more than five million seats are now on sale across 78,000 flights to and from the UK.

Robert Carey, easyJet Chief Commercial Officer said:

We’ve taken the decision to put our flights for the winter season on sale today in order to support customers as much as possible during this time. For the first time flights will also go on sale with a flat fee of £29.99 including taxes and charges. Customers are also able to change their existing plans should they need to, or book a new break, with the reassurance that a change fee will not be applied.

Change fee waiver

Customers who have had their travel plans affected easyJet has waived the change fee associated with changing their flights. All customers are now able to change the dates of their upcoming flights to any time before February 2021.

The change fee waiver applies to both existing and new bookings until further notice. Customers can make changes to their booking online via the Manage Bookings section on www.easyJet.com.
