WHY:
Ferragosto is traditionally celebrated on 15 August, when friends and families come together to eat, drink and make the most of the height of summer. Inspired by the convivial spirit of the occasion, Harry’s is inviting guests to gather around the table and celebrate the Italian way.
Created especially for the weekend, the Harry’s Pollo alla Cacciatora (£34.95) is a generous sharing dish of roasted deboned chicken with slow-cooked peppers, olives and basil, accompanied by grilled Datterini tomatoes and pickled onion. Available from 11.30am until close, it’s made for sharing over a leisurely Ferragosto lunch or dinner.
To complete the occasion, guests can raise a glass with the Harry’s Spritz (£12.95) from the summer spritz menu, combining St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur, Harry’s Limoncello, lime and Prosecco, topped with Fever-Tree Apricot & Grape Soda.
And because no Italian summer celebration is complete without something refreshing, Harry’s will be treating guests with a complimentary sharing plate of watermelon after their meal – a nod to the fruit traditionally enjoyed during Ferragosto celebrations across Italy.
The Ferragosto special will be available at participating Harry’s restaurants from Friday 14 to Sunday 16 August 2026, from 11.30am until close.
