Hotel Review: Pullman Marseille Palm Beach

Pullman Marseille Palm Beach

If ever there was a room with a view worth checking out, the vista from the rooms at the 4 star Pullman Marseille Palm Beach, is it.

This sprawling hotel is situated right on the shores of the Mediterranean and is cleverly built into the rocks with the lower levels hidden from street view. The lobby decor is streamlined with lots of floor-to-ceiling glass windows, furniture with clean lines – a theme that carries on into the bedrooms. Though they are spacious and created with contemporary luxury, the most outstanding feature is the view which can be enjoyed from the balcony.

Who for

With those amazing views from the spacious bedrooms, a pool-side bar for sipping cocktails and a dinner in the sea-view restaurant, this hotel and spa works well for romantic get-aways.

Business travellers are catered for with 12 meeting rooms overlooking the sea and a 330-seat auditorium.

Rooms

Pullman Marseille Palm Beach: De Luxe room with sea viewMost of 150 rooms and 10 junior suites have a spectacular view of the Mediterranean sea. There are all equipped with the mod cons you would expect such as a flat screen TV, minibar, complimentary mineral water, safe deposit box, tea and coffee (Nespresso machine), bathrobe and slippers.

We stayed in the Superior Room with queen-sized double bed and a large private terrace overlooking the sea and the Frioul Islands.

Food and drink

Pullman Marseille Palm Beach: restaurantLa Réserve restaurant serves refined Mediteranean cuisine using regional products such as fresh fish and local wines. If, like us, you are seafood lovers, make sure you try tartare de loup and gambas flambées and don’t miss out on the desert – the café gourmand is a perfect sweet touch to a delicious meal.

The restaurant offers panoramic views of the mountains and the sea. This is best enjoyed on the pool-side terrace, during a buffet breakfast.
