La Chartreuse des Ormeaux in the Dordogne

The Domaine de la Chartreuse des Ormeaux is a private, four-hectare wooded park. Two large houses, La Chartreuse and La Charmeuse, within this domaine can accommodate up to 22 people. The grounds that surround these buildings include landscaped gardens on terraces that lead onto the parkland beyond. Outside there is a heated swimming pool, a table tennis table and a pétanque piste.

Chairs, tables and deck chairs scattered around under the shade of the trees are perfect for enjoying some quiet time. And an extra-large table on the main terrace, next to a barbecue, is ideal for al fresco meals and convivial dining. Essentially self-catering, a special feature of this domaine is the à la carte menu of services allowing guests to create their own special stay. Choose from the luxury of being looked after from start to finish to the joy of shopping for local produce in village markets or a mixture of both.
