The owner of an eco-retreat in Wales has barred anyone who has had the Covid vaccination. Only unjabbed visitors will be accepted.

“We will be unable to welcome folk on site that are ‘vaccinated’ with the experimental CV19 jab.”

Sharon Girardi, who runs the Blaeneinion eco-retreat in Machynlleth, Powys, refers to the Covid jab as “experimental”.

She says that she is worried about the side effects and makes a number of claims surrounding COVID-19 vaccines. An announcement on the retreat’s website says:

With great sadness we have made the decision that we will be unable to welcome folk on site that are ‘vaccinated’ with the experimental CV19 jab.

“”There are many people with the same views that I are cautious about the experimental nature of the injections. They are grateful to have somewhere to go.”

She asserts that she has a “duty of care” to her family and guests staying at the family-run farm, even though clinical trials have shown it to be safe and effective while providing significant levels of immunity.

Since the announcement, the resort, which describes itself as an “idyllic and secluded conservation project set in “75 acres of land at the head of the Artists Valley, near Machynlleth in West Wales”, has enjoyed an unprecedented amount of attention with many people expressing support for the stance. The eco-retreat is currently fully booked.

Note: The UK government’s yellow card reporting system details all side effects of the Coronavirus vaccine. You can view the most recent report here.

To date, more than 44 million Britons have received both jabs against the virus, and millions of vulnerable people will be offered a booster vaccine from next week.
