I booked couchettes for \u20ac35, great value. If that train is still running it would surely be much quicker to go from Brussels to Paris then Paris to Venice. Also if you leave London at 2pm, a 2-hour trip to Brussels would bring you to 5pm as Belgium is an hour ahead of UK.
