Rosalie Bay Eco resort & Spa is a quiet, unassuming property with a relaxed charm located in a nature reserve in Dominica, itself known as Nature Island.
There’s a beach nearby, while several wellness and adventure activities are organised by this lovely ecohotel to enjoy all that nature offers.
The resort uses renewable energy and has a strong focus on wildlife protection, including support of local turtle conservation. Set within a 28-acre nature reserve, the property is home to numerous species of birds, plants and wildlife. Meals are served in the airy Leatherback restaurant, and there is a small pool. The restful Glo spa has three treatment rooms offering aromatherapy, massage and body scrub. The beach is nearby, but swimming is dangerous in this part of the island, and guests wishing to do so are advised to swim in the river Rosalie.
This resort is tranquil with a friendly atmosphere in an unspoilt natural setting, situated along the southeast coast of Dominica.

Guests can witness this amazing sight and are encouraged to support turtle conservation.

Roseau, the capital with pastel coloured buildings.
Rosalie Beach is one of Dominica’s most scenic shorelines, known for its driftwood-strewn landscape and its role as a vital nesting ground for Leatherback, Green, and Hawksbill Sea turtles. However, the beach is also home to strong rip currents, making swimming dangerous. Instead, visitors can enjoy the Rosalie River, a refreshing and safe alternative.
A short walk from the resort is Rosalie Bay Distillery, a craft rum distillery. The non-profit distillery supports the conservation of sea turtles, restoration of coral reefs and protection of whales. Take a tour to see how they produce single cane juice rum, all made from sugar cane from local farms.
