Jewel Classic Hotels to open Colonel Saab restaurant in Holborn, London

by The Travel Magazine

Jewels Group of Hotels’ luxury heritage hotel brand is bringing their first gourmet restaurant to London in July as part of a $20 million global expansion.

Noor Mahal Palace’s premium restaurant, Colonel Saab is due to open in High Holborn at Holborn Town Hall. Other restaurants have opened and closed their doors at this location including Shanghai Blues and Burger & Lobster and most recently the modern European restaurant Gezeliig.  Perhaps Indian fare with a contemporary twist is just what this location needs.

Manbeer Choudhary, chairman and managing director, Jewels Group of Hotels said:

“The USP of this restaurant would be the location (Holborn Building) which is considered one of the busiest and prime real estate locations in Central London. It is a high end experiential Indian cuisine restaurant.”

Colonel Saab, will have a bar and restaurant,  is to offer fine dining dishes from India’s royal kitchens.
