North East England is set to become the best value destination in the UK following the launch of its summer special offer campaign. Visitors to the www.visitnortheastengland.com website over the next eight weeks will be offered £50 off selected self-catering accommodation and 15% off serviced accommodation when booking a set length of stay.

The ‘save your summer’ marketing campaign will begin on the 21st July and will run until mid-September in order to catch the eye of an increasing number of holiday makers who are looking for a last minute deal.

While a high profile marketing and PR campaign, including online advertising will be aimed at potential visitors outside the region, it is also a great opportunity for people closer to home who had already taken their main summer holiday to get away for the weekend.
