Heathrow Connect is a half-hourly rail service which connects people in the London area directly with Heathrow Airport and provides one of the most convenient ways to get to the airport. Linking central London and key stations en route with all Heathrow Airport terminals, Heathrow Connect carries passengers from London’s Paddington station to Terminal 4 in only 33 minutes and terminals 1,2 and 3 in just 25 minutes. Heathrow Connect also offers fast travel to and from the airport to passengers along the route, stopping at Ealing Broadway, West Ealing, Hanwell, Southall and Hayes & Harlington. Heathrow Connect’s brand new trains offer air-conditioned, clean and comfortable travel, with spacious interiors specifically designed to accommodate airport customers’ luggage and closed circuit TV to promote safety. To help the busy traveller, tickets can be bought from station ticket offices along the route and onboard the train. Brian Raven, managing director of Heathrow Connect, said:” Since its launch in 2005, Heathrow Connect has gone from strength to strength. Its popularity is beyond doubt as passenger numbers have far exceeded initial expectations. As the direct Terminal 4 rail service from March 2008, Heathrow Connect ensures high quality, effective transport links for air passengers travelling between Heathrow Airport and Central London” Heathrow Connect links to the London Underground both at both Ealing Broadway and Paddington.
