What's the cheapest way to get to Brussels?
You can get to Brussels with Eurostar (www.eurostar.com 08705 186 186). There are 9 services from Waterloo to Brussels daily. The journey lasts two-and-a-quarter hours to reach Brussels' Gare du Midi and costs from ?59 return. From there you can take a taxi into the centre (14 euros/?10) Else take a twenty minute metro ride to Bourse (1.50 euro/?1), the closes stop to the Grand' Place.
To get there by air: SN Brussels Airlines (www.flysn.com; 0870 735 23 45) flies from Gatwick (from ?70). Alternatively, VLM (www.flyvlm.com, 0161-493 3232) flies from London City to Brussels (from ?90 return).
Prices vary according to date and time of travel.
